"Are there “Good” or “Bad” foods?"
To put it simple: not really.
When you go out for a fun dinner with your family your body doesn't think "ah omg cheat meal!!" It says: "oh look 65g carbs, 15g fat, 30g protein".
Every food, no matter its categorization, provides nutrition and sustenance to the body. Therefore, there are no “bad” foods. While eating micronutrients is important so is balance.
You can only follow an extreme diet for so long. This restriction will result in binging and food anxiety. Health is physical, mental, SOCIAL, and spiritual. Food is a huge part of our culture and our society. If you never enjoy food and do not have balance, you're ignoring many other aspects of health.
